Firouzeh Hall

In this hall of the modern buildings, there are novel designs which deserve due attention. The ceiling and the walls of the hall areconvex blue glass; on these glasses are wrought some plaster mouldings and on all the mouldings there are paintings and declination. Moulding on the surface of glass and mirror is the innovation of Esfahan craftsman; the samples present in this hall are among the most exquisite samples of this novel craft. A partition made out of an old cedar tree connects the hall to another hall, which is allocated to catering the guests. On this partition appear many delicate arabesque Cathay design in the forms of various wooden mosaics and exquisite painting or layechini.
