Alighapou Hall

The door of Alighapou hall is made out of an old walnut tree and is adorned with arabesque designs. To decorate this hall the craftsmen have imitated the plaster-moulded designs of that section of Alighapou, which is famous as Music Room. The margins and the spaces between the plasterings are decorated in a method known as the art of painting's "Shir va Shekar".

The two paintings on the two sides of the door, which opens to the garden, is based on Qajar style;the best of paintings are based on Safavid style which remind us of the designs of Alighapou. The collection of plaster mouldings and other works has turned this small parlor to a museum each of whose parts is representative of one of the various styles of decorative arts in the last three centuries
